Tehran University of Medical Sciences at the Education and Career 2024 Exhibition in Kazakhstan
The Kazakhstan International Exhibition "Education and Career 2024" took place from November 20 to 22, 2024, in Almaty, marking the largest education exhibition in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Supported annually by the Ministry of Science of Kazakhstan, the event drew over 100,000 prospective students interested in studying abroad and featured participation from leading international universities. The exhibition aimed to foster international cooperation in education, emphasizing the importance of academic excellence and professionalism while informing young individuals about diverse educational opportunities both domestically and internationally. This year’s event featured universities from Kazakhstan, Turkey, Malta, Russia, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, and the United Kingdom. Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) proudly represented Iran as the sole Iranian university in attendance. Throughout the three-day exhibition, the TUMS booth welcomed numerous Kazakh students aspiring to study abroad, along with student recruitment agents and representatives from other international universities. Visitors had the opportunity to learn about TUMS’s international programs and initiatives in attracting foreign students. TUMS's participation in this prestigious event was initiated by Iran's Scientific Consultancy in Kazakhstan. Notably, the Consul General of Iran in Almaty and the scientific representative of the Iranian Embassy also visited the TUMS booth, underscoring the importance of the university’s presence at the exhibition. The participation of TUMS in the Education and Career 2024 Exhibition highlights the university’s commitment to expanding its global presence and fostering international academic partnerships. By engaging with prospective students and educational institutions worldwide, TUMS continues to pave the way for cultural exchange and academic collaboration, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in medical education and research.
