Important Announcement: Course Registration and Academic Guidelines
The course registration period for the upcoming semester will begin on Saturday, January 25, 2025, and will continue until Wednesday, January 29, 2025, via the SIPAD system (online). Please ensure that your SIPAD account is active and accessible before the registration period to review the available courses, including details about lecture dates and times.
The Academic Calendar for the 2nd Semester of 2024–2025 is now available on our website. Additionally, the Academic Timetable for the February 2025 semester will be published on the website prior to the registration period. Please visit the Academic Calendar and Timetables webpage for further details.
Note: This period will NOT be extended!
Course Registration Regulations
According to the educational regulations for course registration (Chapter One, Article 3-1):
- Students enrolled at TUMS-IC must obtain their respective credits from the educational departments for each term.
- Failure to enroll in a term without prior approval from the Educational Office or a valid reason may result in expulsion from the academic program.
Note: Failure to comply with these regulations may lead to serious consequences regarding your academic status at TUMS-IC. Students are solely responsible for adhering to the registration guidelines.
Semester Start Dates
- Basic Sciences students: Classes will commence on Saturday, February 15, 2025.
- For Physiopathology and Clinical courses, please consult the respective schools for detailed schedules.
Financial Obligations
Students are reminded that it is their responsibility to manage their academic and financial matters. According to university regulations:
- Tuition and fees are payable on demand.
- Students must settle any outstanding balances on their accounts promptly to avoid complications.

On-Campus Classes
All theoretical and practical lectures will be held on campus at both Tehran and Kish campuses.
Attendance Policy
Per Chapter Four of the educational regulations:
- Article 22: Attendance is mandatory for all sessions, including lectures, internships, and training. Absences will be recorded for any missed sessions.
- Article 23: The maximum allowable absence hours are:
- 4/17 for theoretical sessions
- 2/17 for practical and laboratory sessions
- 1/17 for internships and training periods
Exceeding these limits will result in a score of zero for the respective course or session.
Leave of Absence (LOA) and Semester Dropping Requests
Students wishing to request a Leave of Absence (LOA) or withdraw from the upcoming semester (February 2025), with or without consideration in the educational period and payment of fees, must submit their requests at least one week before the registration period begins.
