TUMS Faculty Member Contributes to Leading International Medical Education Reference
Dr. Maryam Alizadeh, a faculty member of the Medical Education Group at the School of Medicine, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS), has contributed to the seventh edition of A Practical Guide for Medical and Health Professions Teachers, a widely recognized reference in medical and health professions education.
As one of the book’s contributing authors, Dr. Alizadeh co-authored the chapter on “Team-Based Learning,” contributing her expertise to a key area of contemporary medical education.
Published in 2026 by Elsevier, the seventh edition brings together contributions from experts in medical and health professions education. The new edition was launched during the AMEE 2026 International Conference in Vienna, an international forum for medical and health professions educators.
Dr. Alizadeh’s contribution highlights the academic and international engagement of TUMS faculty in advancing medical education and sharing expertise with the global academic community.
