Educational Festival Competition

Dear TUMS International Students:

For the occasion of Education Week, the Vice-Dean for Educational Affairs (International Campus) of Tehran University of Medical Sciences, in cooperation with the Vice- Dean for Student and Cultural Affairs, intends to hold a student competition;

To participate in the competition, you must prepare your educational experience that you have gained so far while studying at TUMS (International Campus), in the form of ONE 10-minute video, including 2 sections, and send it to the below Gmail address:

Additionally, the participants need to fill the pre-registration online form before sending their files.

Details of Submitted Files

1. Please mention your Full Name and your Student ID Number as the subject of the email.
2. During the first part of your Video, introduce yourself briefly.
3. Recorded file as audio-video content (clip in MP4 format) for a maximum of 10 minutes in total (for both questions) and with a maximum size of 35 MB

Note 1: Although there is some software to record the content of your presentation, you can facilitate this process; Use “A power soft Screen Recorder” software. You can download this software through the following link. It should be mentioned that the use of any software in the field of educational content is unrestricted.

Note 2: If the size of the prepared file is more than the specified size, you can reduce the size to the specified size with volume reduction software. There is some software available to reduce the size of your files. You can also use “handbrake” software to facilitate this process. You can download this software at https://handbrake.fr.

Note 3: It is recommended to use images, animation, etc. in the preparation of the audio-video presentation file.

Note 4: Please make sure that the size of the submitted file and the time of preparing the file are in accordance with the conditions stated in this guide.

Note 5: The presenter must be a current student.

Assessment and Awards of Submitted Files

Judging is done by the jury from ICTUMS. Please note that in addition to scientific evaluation of the work, attractiveness and creativity in the preparation of audio-visual presentation file will also be considered as one of the evaluation criteria.

The first to third best experience & offer senders will be awarded precious prizes.
