Announcement 2:  Basic Sciences (Olum-e-Paye) Examination

March 2023

In refinancing the first NEWS on 31 January 2023, the Basic Sciences (Olum-e-Paye) and 180 credits Comprehensive exam will be held

Thursday March 02, 2023 at 09:00am (Tehran local time, GMT+4:30)

 For All Medical students - Pharmacy students - Dentistry students

Tehran Campus Student @ TUMS Children's Medical Exam Center (PBT)

KISH Campus student  @ Kish Campus, Tehran University of Medical Sciences  (iBT)

As the Basic Sciences examination will be held as a national and central exam, therefore the attendance of all eligible student is MANDATORY. Eligible student should be arranged their presence at verified TUMS examination centered in advanced.

If an eligible student does not attend to the March. 2023 examination, he/she is required to initially inform the Education office by a written application a week before the exam to avoid any absent failed in mentioned exam and participate in the next coming exam on Sept 2023. It should be noted that students who have not successfully passed or not participating the basic science exam are not eligible to participate in the next stage of education (physiopathology/clinical).

The Basic Sciences March 2023 Mock Examination for eligible Medical & Derisory students

The Edu office of TUMS has been scheduled a mock test for the TUMS international students on Tuesday February 28, 2023 by 9:00am @ Europe LR at HujatDust Building for Tehran campus students and for KISH campus students at the Marjan campus in order to familiarize the students about processes of the examination and get a better perspective of what kind of questions will appear in the exam.

As the mock test can be incredibly beneficial for students and helping them to see that is part of the challenge attendance is strongly recommended. As participation is voluntary If any students have personal issue they can skip the Mock Examination.

Students Must-Have Exam Stationery for the Mock Test and the actual March 2023 BS exam;

1) Ballpoint Pen.

2) Soft black Pencil.

3) Eraser 

4) Small Sharpener

The Condition of Participation for March. 2023 Basic Sciences Examination has been mentioned on the 1^st announcement.

Note 1.

Please notice that the March Basic Sciences Examination would be held by the Ministry of health and we only register the names of TUMS students who applied on time from the Pre-registered.

Note 2.

All International students who are eligible to participate in the exam required to get the Examination Entry Card on Wednesday March 01, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m. at educational office of ICTUMS on Flat B, Exam office, 5^th floor, No.25. Hujat Dust St., South Palestine Street for Tehran Campus.

Note 3.

Registered students MUST bring the printed registration form at the time of finalizing the online pre-registration plus a 3*4 photo in order to get their Examination Entry Card.

Note 4.

On the date of the exam, students should bring their Examination Entry Card with Passport (or the receipt from TUMS Consulate Office) and the student’s ID card with themselves.

Marjan Kish Campus, Tehran University of Medical Sciences

Consulate issue regards to the KISH campus students;

Students who pass the March 2023 Basic Sciences Examination and have no remaining courses for their Basic Sciences phases are supposed to leave Kish Island and continue their education in Tehran.

Along with getting the clearance form regards to the dormitory from the Kish office, it is compulsory and necessary for them to get their internal exit visa from Kish and then apply for a new residence permit from the ICTUMS university's consular office at Tehran within 10 days after receiving this visa (please notice that the internal exit visa will expire after 10 days).

Further details will be announced from the consulate offices of Kish and Tehran.

Obviously, all possible problems and consequences refer to students themselves in case of not care about receiving an internal exit visa after finalizing their condition form the Educational Affaires of ICTUMS.
