The Outstanding Performance of TUMS MBBS Graduates in India FMGE
TUMS MBBS graduates recorded an excellent result in the latest Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) in July 2023. FMGE is a licensure examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) in India. The test is one of the mandatory requirements for an Indian citizen who has a medical degree from a university outside India to practice medicine in the country.
According to NBE, in the latest FMG exam held in July 30, 2023 a total of 24,250 candidates registered for the exam out of which 2474 students passed. That means the passing percentage has been only 10.2%. Although the passing percentage has been very low, TUMS MBBS graduates have recorded a great result. Out of 20 applicants from TUMS batch September 2017 who have appeared in the exam for the first time, 18 have passed the test that is 90% passing percentage.
TUMS graduates have listed the main reasons of this glamorous result as below:
- The high-quality education they have received at TUMS,
- The similarity of TUMS MBBS syllabus to that of the Indian medical education system,
- Up-to-date and competency-based curriculum with study, research, and hands-on practice under the supervision of reputed professors.
TUMS authorities congratulate successful students for this brilliant achievement and welcome them all to continue their postgraduate studies in TUMS specialty programs with special offers.
