TUMS Signs a Letter of Intent with Katholieke University of Leuven

Upon a cordial meeting at the Office of Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs on July 17th, 2012, Dr. Ali Arabkherdmand, the Vice-Chancellor for Global Strategies and International Affairs and Prof. Jozef Anné, the president of the Belgian Society for Microbiology and the professor at Katholieke University of Leuven, signed a “Letter of Intent” to boost scientific ties.

 

 

As explained by Prof. Anné, the Letter of Intent has the intention with the given possibilities to collaborate on scientific programs and research projects, to exchange and train students and postgraduate scientists, to organize workshops, scientific conferences and courses for (post)graduate students.

 

This initiative collaboration is designed to complement ongoing bilateral efforts to exchange postgraduate students and faculty members, establish joint degree programs, and exchange scientific, educational and scholarly materials.


Further negotiation between the two parties will be held in late September.
