 TUMS Ranks 656 in Ranking Web of World University 2012

According to the recent release of The World Universities Webometric Rankings, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) has ranked 656 among 20,000 higher education and research institutes in the world in July 2012.

TUMS currently holds outstanding positions in both national and international rankings. Based on Universities Webometric ranking system which is based on four new criteria (Presence, Impact, Openness and Excellence),TUMS has ameliorated its position by moving up 12 steps.

While rankings and ratings can provide helpful insight into specialty areas and expertise at any university, these various assessments are only one measure of an institution’s overall quality and reputation.
