IAGH Hosted 12th Iranian Congress on Gastroenterology and Hepatology

The Iranian Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (IAGH)  in collaboration with the Digestive Disease Research Center (DDRC) of Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS)hosted the 12^th Iranian Congress of Gastroenterology and Hepatology (ICGH) at Razi Congress Hall, November 28-30, 2012 .

With presence of well-known scientists and lecturers from inside and outside of the country, this four-day Congress aimed to present new research, discuss and exchange cutting edge knowledge in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology specially hepatobiliary disease.

ICGH 2012 covered postgraduate course, plenary sessions, poster presentations, industry sponsored symposium, and workshops. The first day was dedicated to postgraduate course and the three following days were practical series of keynote presentations which highlight major fields of interest in the world of gastroenterology and hepatology. Among 215 received abstracts, 148 were selected for poster presentation.  

Internationally invited lecturers from USA, UK, Netherlands, France, Australia, Syria, Pakistan, and Afghanistan also presented their lectures in the field.
