USERN’s Winter Scientific Conference Takes Place, Celebrating Its 3rd Anniversary

Initially, lecturers and young artists who were selected in the last year's Youth Miniature Talks program presented series of lectures on the relationship between science and compilation arts.Then a group of children and adolescents with a history of being hospitalized or chronic illnesses, in an ensemble called HEART Band performed children songs and in continuation, the renowned Daal Band joined them and performed pieces jointly.

 

During the ceremony, five selected Iranian artists who did not have the opportunity to participate in the fourth international painting festival for sick children in Italy on 10th November, 2018 in order to present their painting on the health of children and adolescents, were honored with a statue and medal of honor. Then young USERN ambassadors were introduced and recalled their letters of credence one by one.

 

This event was carried on by lectures from Dr. Hamidreza Namazi, Head of the Iranian National Museum of Medical Sciences; Dr. Farzad Goli, Head of the Health Science Research Institute; and Dr. Alireza Monajemi, professor of medical philosophy.
