The Second International School Visit to Tehran University of Medical Sciences

On 18^th November, a group of 35 international students from “Pakistan International School and College Tehran”, visited TUMS and Tehran University in order to get acquainted with Iran’s leading university in the field of medical sciences. The students were from multiple nationalities, including Bangladeshi, Czech, Pakistani, Nigerian, Sri Lankan, Palestinian, Romanian, Moroccan, and Iraqi.

This visit, which was managed by the Directorate of International Affairs and Development, started with an introduction to the historic background and the present status of TUMS among international universities followed by a question and answer session and an informative talk by Dr. Nima Rezaei, Vice-Dean for International Affairs of the School of Medicine.

Afterwards, the students visited the main buildings of TUMS and with the assistance of the admission team from Tehran University; they visited the main campus and a few faculties of Tehran University.

The visit reached an end by attending tours of different departments at the School of Dentistry and the National Museum of Medical Sciences History.
