International Village of Arts and Games - October 10-12

To honor the World Mental Health Day of October 10, 2018 and raise awareness and understanding regarding the subject of youth mental health, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and the Universal Scientific Education and Research Network (USERN) will hold a 3-day event of international arts and games.

This event, which will be held on October 10-12, Wednesday to Friday, every day from 17:00 to 22:00, is sponsored by the Municipality of Tehran, and will be held in Tehran's Mellat Park.

This exhibition of arts and games, which is open to the public, will include various arts and games, as well as open-air interviews and speeches, all focusing on the mental health issues of children and youth.

Revolving around this year's global theme of Young People and Mental Health in a Changing World, this program aims to approach different aspects of the grand subject of youth mental health.

The World Health Organization (WHO) formally observes World Mental Health Day each year, stating that "World Mental Health Day is observed on 10 October every year, with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world and mobilizing efforts in support of mental health. The Day provides an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide."
