Second Innovation Day, One Percent of Worktime for Innovation
Innovation Day provides time for all sections of the University to put aside their day-to-day work to think creatively and outside the box. In this context, TUMS vice-chancellors, hospitals, research centers, schools and many other delegates from utility companies, suppliers, and technology experts got together to introduce the special capabilities of the University, provide a competitive environment for stakeholders and engage the researchers, technicians, academic staff, and businessmen in identifying the gaps between science and technology in the field of medicine and related sciences.
Among four published books named Ideas List, Firsts Book, Improvement Lists, and Innovations Book, Vice-chancellor for Global Strategies & International Affairs (GSIA) is indexed in Improvement Book with the project of publishing "International student Prospectus" and installing "Online Application Form".
Additionally, "Establishing Office of Vice-chancellor for GSIA and appointing Vice-Deans of International Affairs for each school", "TUMS International Quality Assurance and Accreditation", "Internal Assessment of Affiliated Faculties and Institutions of TUMS as an Instrument for Quality Assurance", "Signing Agreements to run MPH for International Students of ECO countries" are the four GSIA achievements which were published in Fists Book of Innovation Day.
