TUMS Leaps 92 Steps in ESI Ranking

Vice-minister for Research and Technology of Ministry of Health, Dr. Mostafa Ghanei announced that in the recent release of ESI, three other Iranian medical universities have been added to the list of top one percent world's medical universities. "Now, there exist eight Iranian medical universities which are among the top one percent world's medical universities: Tehran, Shahid-Beheshti, Iran, Shiraz, Isfahan, Tabriz, Mashhad universities of Medical Sciences and Pastor Institute," he added.

Tehran University of Medical Sciences ranked 492 with 92 steps improvement, Shahid Beheshi ranked 884 with77 steps of improvement, Shiraz 1303^rd, Isfahan 1550, Tabriz 1637^th, Mashhad 1841st, and Iran 2128^th.

In clinical medicine, TUMS ranked the 214th, Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences 468^th.
