Based on the latest report released by SCIMAGO Institutions Ranking in May 2013, Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) is placed in 100th position among world universities in field of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Pharmaceutics.

Regarding all fields of sciences, Iran is in 27th position worldwide, third in the region for medicine, health, dentistry and first for chemistry, ISNA reported.
