Largest Rehabilitation Hospital in Middle East Inaugurated in Tehran
Noorafshar Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Hospital was inaugurated in Tehran, on May 18, 2013 with the presence of Dr. Rahimi, the Prime Minister, Dr. Tarighat Monfared, the Minister of Health, TUMS Chancellor, Dr. Mohammad Reza Mansouri and Dr. Faghih, the President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society.
As the construction of the hospital had begun 12 years ago for children with musculoskeletal problems and adults with skeletal system problems, Dr. Mansouri, emphasized that the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) would academically support the Hospital’s faculty, residents and staff. Further, Dr. Masouri expressed his gratitude to TUMS faculty for their support to build the largest Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Hospital in the Middle East in Teheran.
