Dr. Conor Mosli-Lynch, fellow of hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery in London Hammersmith Hospital who came to Iran per his professor’s recommendation was introduced to Dr. Jafarian, Head of hepatobiliary and Liver Transplantation Division at Imam Khomeini Hospital, to observe HPB surgeries.

Following arrangements of Office of Global Strategies and International Affairs, Dr. Conor Mosli-Lynch, fellow of hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) surgery in London Hammersmith Hospital was introduced to Dr. Jafarian to do a short-term training course on HPB surgeries.

After visiting Dr. Lynch at operation room No. 1 of Imam Khomeini Hospital and knowing about his needs and expectations of this training course, Dr. Jafarian introduced him to Dr. Rashidi for his course program. In this short visit, Dr. Jafarian explained about Imam Khomeini Hospital and Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) shortly and gave a summery on the history of the university.

Dr. Lynch thanked TUMS chancellor for accepting his request and providing him with this opportunity.
