TUMS Experts Participated in Mashhad International Conference

A group of experts from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) participated in the sixth international conference of Iranian Higher Education Association (IHEA) held by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad on 14 May 2014.

In order to exchange ideas and for the purpose of taking a step forward towards internationalization, a group of TUMS experts in companion with TUMS Director of International Relations and Development, Dr. Shabani, took part in the conference held by Ferdowsi University of Mashhad under the title of “Developing International Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities”. 

The conference mainly focused on necessities and requirements of international higher education, relative limitations and advantages of developing international higher education, internationalization of higher education in Iran, etc.  After a general introduction, various panel discussions were held on related subjects, in which TUMS experts participated selectively and attentively. They also commented on the issues discussed and shared valuable experiences of TUMS in the field of internationalization.
