Yalda Night at TUMS

The last day of autumn which is the longest night of the year, is called Yalda Night in Iran as an old tradition just similar to several other countries. We celebrate this night with our loved ones and set up a special Yalda Sofreh including delicious nuts, candies, pomegranate and watermelon. We also read from Hafez, and wish to have a joyful winter ahead.
