TUMS Welcome Week Timetable

Dear TUMS Students,

Congratulations on being accepted to TUMS! We look forward to meeting you in Iran!

Below please find the schedule for the September 2017 Welcome Week.

As you have been informed earlier, you are required to take the M.D., D.D.S. and Pharm.D. Grouping (Scientific) Exam and English and Persian Placement Tests (if you are accepted conditionally).

If you have received your visa number via an email recently, please make the necessary arrangements as soon as possible and email us your flight ticket at least one week prior to your arrival in order for us to arrange your arrival, registration, accommodation, and of course, the Grouping (Scientific) Test. Indeed, for students who are accepted conditionally, placement tests are also included.

If you have not received your visa number yet, please wait patiently and refrain from sending us too many emails about your visa. Rest assured, our colleagues are tending to your case to make it ready soon. When your visa is prepared, we will guide you on what to do next.

Brief Explanation about the Grouping (Scientific) Test:

After registration and before the commencement of the program, students are required to attend an exam. The results of this exam will be used for grouping students and deciding on the number of credits they are allowed to select for each semester. Moreover, some students might be required to pass some prerequisite courses in one or more subjects based on the results of this exam. The questions of this exam will be based on four subjects during your Secondary and Higher Secondary School Examinations, namely Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
