The First International Conference on Health for Sustainable Development

The First International Conference on Health for Sustainable Development is held at the TUMS Headquarter's Main Conference Hall, on April 25-26, 2017. The focus of this conference is sustainable development objectives which were approved by the United Nations in 2015.

All schools of public health in the country are scheduled to participate in this event and leading international experts of the field from Australia, Germany, America, Great Britain, Canada, Egypt, and Lebanon will have presentations and talks at the conference. The themes of the conference are 1) combatting and preventing non-communicable diseases and 2) United Health Care.

In addition, the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of TUMS School of Public Health comprises a part of this event.
