Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) aims to hold a seminar revolving around the grand topic of Internationalization of Higher Education, focusing specifically on Mobility Programs.
TUMS Holds International IHE Seminar

To be held on April 29-30, 2017, the seminar on the Internationalization of Higher Education will be jointly held with of Iran's Ministry of Health, Treatment, and Medical Education and Ministry Foreign Affairs. Moreover, several universities including Sharif University of Technology, Amirkabir University of Technology, University of Tehran and University of Santiago de Compostela of Spain will contribute to this event.

 

The seminar will be divided into four main panels under the titles Strategic Thinking, Mobility, Research and Education. Moreover, as part of the program, two discussion panels titled Accreditation and Mobility and International Collaboration for World-class Research on the first day and two specialized Persian round tables on the topics of Accreditation and Ranking on the second day of the seminar.

 

One of the highlights of this seminar is that keynote speakers scheduled to appear are among top national authorities and officials of internationalized universities from around the word including Canada, Spain, Australia, Bulgaria, Switzerland, Ukraine, Germany, the U.K., Czech Republic and France. 

 

Also included in the seminar, the toga of Professor Charles Oberling, the famous French pathologist and the pioneer in designing a new educational curriculum based on the modern academic programs in Iran, will be proferred by his nephew’s wife, Dr. Laure Pain-Oberling, to TUMS officials.
