As part of TUMS Cultural Affairs and Entertainment Programs for international students, TUMS organizes weekly indoor sports competitions for international students.
TUMS Holds 2nd Indoor Sports Competitions for International Students

Among the competition categories are table tennis, foosball, chess and darts. The previous round of indoor games started on October 2, at the sports center in student dormitories, with table tennis kick-starting the first day of the competitions. TUMS officials attending the event were Dr. Enayat A. Shabani, Director of International Affairs and Development, and Mr. Hossein Khodamoradi, the Dormitory Manager.

 

Abdullahi Kabir Ozigi, M.P.H. student from Nigeria, came out on top in the table tennis competition. Runner-up, again from Nigeria, was Mohammad Imran Wanka, undergraduate student of Radiology. The 3rd place went to Harfolarbi Sikiru Adebileje, M.Sc. student of Medical Imaging, also from Nigeria. Finally, the 4th place was occupied by Abraham Assan, M.P.H. student from Ghana. At the end of the first day, the dormitory manager gave various prizes to the winners.

 

Congratulations to the Nigerian students for taking the first three positions in the table tennis competition.
