This quarterly journal is compiled by Neuroscience Institute of TUMS and is approved by:

• Minister's Deputy Office in Press and Publicity Affairs of the Ministry of Cultural and Islamic Guidance; and
• The Iranian Committee of Medical Science Journals of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education.                                               

This publication is a clinical and basic sciences journal which is informative to all practicing neurosurgeons, neurologists, psychiatrists, and neuroscientists. It is the official journal of the International Neuroscience Institute. The major theme of this journal is to follow the path of scientific collaboration, spontaneity and goodwill for the future by providing up-to-date knowledge for the readers. The journal aims to cover diverse fields, as its name implies, ranging from research in basic and clinical sciences to core topics such as patient care, education, procuring and correct utilization of resources and bringing to the limelight the cherished goals of the institute in providing a standard care for the physically disabled patients.

This quarterly journal offers a venue for researchers and scientists to introduce and discuss their innovative and constructive research work. The scope of the journal is as far and wide as the fields it covers, and its aim is to pursue the goal of providing remedies for intractable ailments, which leave psychological difficulties in the daily life of such patients. This clinical and basic sciences journal was founded by Professor Majid Samii in 2012.
