TUMS and University of Santiago de Compostela to Initiate Collaborations

Dr. Veloso, following his visit to TUMS Schools of Pharmacy, Medicine, and Dentistry, as well as Tehran Heart Center on December 2, 2013, took part in a meeting held on December 3, 2014, attended by Dr. Nekoofar, Director of International Relations, Accreditation and Ranking, and, among others, Vice-Deans of International Affairs from TUMS schools.

TUMS officials elaborated on present activities and future plans of the schools and explained about pertaining departments, international collaborations and educational facilities. 

During the meeting, Dr. Veloso expressed his delight regarding his trip to Iran and learning about TUMS potentials and capabilities and also introduced the University of Santigo de Campostela.

Furthermore, the attendees discussed details of TUMS presence in the Consortium of European Universities, deciding to prepare an MoU draft for the two universities to be signed by the relevant chancellors.
