Program Description:
Due to advances in medical technology, changes have occurred in the needs of society to specialized-scientific services over the past decade. Due to great development in neurosurgery topics and advances in different fields, including tumor1T lesions surgeries, vascular surgeries, T1
spinal cord1T , 1T vertebral column1T , T1 stereotaxy1T 1T Tand1 1T 1endoscopy, T parallel to changes in pharmacological 01T management, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and interventions in cerebrovascular 1T diseases, 1T a neurosurgeon alone cannot provide excellent services to all relevant patients. Considering the fact that congenital neurosurgical diseases are more prevalent in Iran than Western countries and taking into account all the above facts, the Pediatric Neurosurgery fellowship will lead to increased therapeutic efficacy.
Definition
1TPediatric Neurosurgery fellowship is a clinical course originated from Neurosurgery, the graduates are involved in prevention, diagnosis, management , and care provision for patients with congenital and acquired neurosurgical diseases (Up to 1T the age of 18 years)1T and provide the society with their specialized knowledge and skills in education, research, and health services.
Objectives:
1T1- To train competent and efficient specialists in the areas of education, research, prevention, and rehabilitation in the field of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
1T2-In the next 10 years, we will be one of the top countries in Middle East in science production and providing educational standards in this feild.

Admission Requirements
General Requirement: To apply for this program, you will need to fulfill a number of requirements, which can be found in the Graduate Admission Requirements.
Specific Requiremetns: Holding an M.D. or M.B.B.S. degree. Having and approved Specialty in Neurosurgery received in Iran or abroad
The eligible candidate should have successfully completed an approved related Degree program and should be proficient in English or Persian.
Admission Deadline
Tehran University of Medical Sciences has a rolling application system and reviews student applications all year round.
However, the deadline for the September intake is June 31.
