Program Description:
Medical Imaging Technology is an interdisciplinary academic field designed to enhance diagnostic services for human diseases through the application of advanced and up-to-date imaging methods, techniques, and protocols. Students in this program receive comprehensive training in the physical and engineering principles of imaging systems and the signals that constitute medical images. They become proficient in modern and accurate imaging techniques for anatomical, physiological, and metabolic processes of the human body, contributing to the advancement and optimization of these technologies in clinical practice.
Admission Requirements
General Requirement: To apply for this program, you will need to fulfill a number of requirements, which can be found in the Graduate Admission Requirements.
Specific Requiremetns:
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Physics (all specializations)
- Radiologic Technology
- Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Radiation Therapy Technology
- Biomedical Engineering (Bioelectric concentration)
.- Documents to be submitted for admission: transcript of records, copy of last degree, certificate of English proficiency, and a medical certificate.
Admission Deadline
Tehran University of Medical Sciences has a rolling application system and reviews student applications all year round.
However, the deadline for the September intake is June 31.
