Such revisions were deemed necessary considering: 1) changes in the needs of community members and dental specialists; 2) changes and innovations in the field of prevention and provision of oral health services and also the results of evaluations and determination of real needs as reported by recent graduates and post-graduate students of pediatric dentistry.
